words still needed in despair
magical magic
Tanka:
free form:
Love

even if were separated by sea
still value of love remain
traditional:
as I watch the moon
across the shears of my room
I felt my heart gloom
during the cold winter breeze
blankets as I chill in freeze
reflective notes:
Tanka is form of Japanese verse. It has 5 lines consisting of 5, 7, 5, 7 and 7 syllables respectively. Haiku, on the other hand, consists of 3 lines of 5,7 and 5 syllables. Tanka talks about our feelings or events in our life while Haiku talks about nature alone.
Summary:
Tanka and Haiku is easy to make if you have the ability to do it by yourself. Writing poems not only enhances your vocabulary in English but it also can release the thoughts of the writer.
Advice:
Express what's in your mind, dont be afraid if the grammars wrong as long as the poem expresses your feelings, coz poems is about feelings anyway so why not try and make some.
